Student Emergency Medical Services
Are you interested in Emergency Medicine? Do you want to get certified in CPR, as a First Responder, or as an EMT? S.E.M.S is a registered student organization dedicated to giving students the hands on experience and opportunity to be educated in emergency medicine while offering our services to the university. Any UW-Madison student who is interested in Emergency Medicine, whether certified already or wanting to be certified, has found the right organization for them. Not only will S.E.M.S be providing a valuable service to the university by providing EMS services around campus, we will also be helping to educate the community in Emergency Medical Services as well as teaching preventative measures.

This Fall semester of 2009...
...we will be shadowing the UW-EMS Paramedics at football, hockey, and basketball games, holding classes to certify students in CPR, connecting students with classes in further EMS training, learning EMS skills at each meeting from our EMT certified members, as well as participating in outreach projects to educate the community in EMS.
