    Welcome to SEMS

    Welcome to Student Emergency Medical Services, an amazing student organization at UW-Madison. SEMS is dedicated to giving students the hands on experience and opportunity to be educated in emergency medicine while offering our services to the university. We offer CPR classes, informative speakers and shadowing opportunities to learn about the emergency medical field. If you are interested in emergency medicine, want to get certified in CPR or as an EMT, don't be hesitant to come to a meeting, or send an e-mail of interest! Enjoy!

    New Opportunity for EMT's

    UWPD First Responders. There is a new program on campus, UWPD-FR. We are shadowing the UW-EMS Paramedics at UW football games, basketbal games, hockey games, and other various athletic events on campus. UWPD-FR also holds classes to certify students in CPR, further EMS training, learning EMS skills and participating in outreach projects to educate the community in EMS. You do not need to be an EMT to join! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the field through hands-on training and close contact with professionals. See UWPD First Responder
